January, 2010

If anybody loves being on their home turf, Taurus, it's you, but this month, you'll be bitten - Big Time - by the travel bug, who'll inspire you to take your show on the road. If you're attached, you'll be taking off with your sweetheart, who'll be delighted. Just be smart. Don't make any definite plans, until after Mercury turns direct on the 15th, putting an end to three long weeks of wreaking havoc on just about all your plans. Better still, leave after the 17th, when Jupiter will set off for dreamy, romantic Pisces, guaranteeing a trip to remember!

If the career path you're on now doesn't involve telecommunications, Taurus, it certainly should. Several planets in Aquarius are moving through your house of career matters, and each just loves tinkering with electronics and telecommunications. With Valentine's Day en route, and your sign being ruled by Venus, the Goddess of Love, you can create a mixture of your natural talents - those bestowed upon you by Venus - and those currently gifted to you by those Aquarius planets. Together, you'll come up with a wonderful way to celebrate the day, and perhaps also to forge a new profession.

When it comes to honesty, Taurus, you simply can't imagine being any other way. It saves time - and "Time is Money" was either written by or for your sign. More importantly on an inner level, honesty equals trustworthiness - both primary qualities in your book. So when, not if, a loved one begs you to keep something secret, you probably won't want to, but you will. If you agree only because you feel obligated, stop right there. That's not the best reason to do anything. Think it over and make it right with your conscience before you agree.

The Sun, Mercury, and Venus will all pass through your sign and your house of personality and appearance this month, Taurus. This solid crew will bring out all the sensuality, sturdiness, and diligence that's already in your nature. You may consider starting up a new business - one of your own - and that's a great idea. Just don't sign anything you'll be bound to after the 17th , when Mercury turns retrograde in your sign. To be safe, don't make any promises after the 15th. After three weeks of working his way retrograde through your sign, Taurus, communicative Mercury will finally turn direct, bright and early on the 11th - and there will be much rejoicing in your kingdom! All those miscommunications, lost directions, broken appliances, and electronics will finally be straightened out or fixed, and since you're so fond of your possessions, this will be quite a terrific time for you! Of course, you also love to be with your dear ones - finally, there will be no more hurdles to jump over. It's time to make some plans with no worries about the outcome.

Now, there are definitely worse problems, but you may actually find that you've got more social engagements than time to keep them. You have two options: cut down on the number of admirers you're trying to entertain (and you know your favorite(s) at this point), or have a lot more lunches out. The Sun, Mercury, and Venus will take turns marching through Virgo and your house of lovers this month, Taurus, so although love is always at the top of your sensual sign's priority list, you'll be even more concerned with it this month - and it may involve a certain someone you've found absolutely delicious for a long time. You may need to keep your relationship a secret for the moment, however, which won't sit well with you. If it's necessary, though, especially if one or both of you aren't quite available just yet, force yourself. It's only fair.

Your axis of friends and lovers will be activated, Big Time, during September, Taurus. On the 8th, long-distance Jupiter will back up into Pisces and your house of friendships, toting distant memories of friends and lovers. On the 18th, startling Uranus will join him. Between the two, there's just no doubt that you'll hear from someone you haven't seen or even thought of in years, or maybe even bump into them, entirely by "coincidence." On the 12th, Mercury will turn direct (finally!) in your house of lovers - so one of those "old friends" may suddenly feel more like a new lover.

Your house of one-to-one relationships is about to be invaded by an extremely charming pair of planets, Taurus: loving, lovely Venus and red-hot, aggressive Mars, the type of duo who are absolutely impossible to refuse, no matter what they ask - or demand, in Mars' case. They'll be working together for just about all of October, and to make them even more magnetic, they'll both be wearing sexy, intense Scorpio - so if you're single, you really should be wearing a warning label. If you're attached, your partner probably won't want to go out much - for obvious reasons.

Long-distance friends and maybe even ex-lovers will scoop up your time and energy this month, Taurus - perhaps so much that you'll need to do some thinking about both the past and the future. Loving Venus, your own planet, will turn direct on the 18th, after weeks of moving retrograde through your house of relationships. The same day, however - which is what will make things "interesting" - Jupiter, Mr. Far-Off places, people, and things - will also turn direct, in nostalgic Pisces, famous for remembering only the best of the past. Be honest with yourself before you see them.

You love to shop, Taurus, especially around the holiday season. This month, however, you'll have to deal with Mercury retrograde, which will make it tough for you to find the best deals, which is what you pride yourself on. Get the majority of your shopping done before the 10th. That's when Mercury will back up. If you absolutely have to wait until after that date, try the weekend of the 17th, when the Moon will be in your own quality-conscious sign, helping you find the "real deals." You may have to wait a bit longer in line, but it won't be that bad.
